That's Not Even Funny

"I bawled my eyes out laughing — at myself."

Before we dive into this I really want to thank all of you for taking the time to check this out — and a disclaimer before: nothing here is written by AI (even the editing) so if there is any mistake, it is my fault. Hope you like it :)

It clicked for me during a roast. I told a friend his coding was so bad that even Stack Overflow had given up on him. That was good, right? He fired back that my sense of humour was like a pop quiz: noone asked for it, everyone hated it and it lowered the room's average.

Okay. That's just genius. I mean the roast is still about me but, you can't help appreciating art. I bawled my eyes out of laughing on the "lowered the room's average" part.

We're all somehow trained to take ourselves seriously, to present a clean, unbothered version of us, that's good in fact but I have quietly opted out. I am the person who walks in a room, trips over nothing and turns it into a bit.

If you're reading this and thinking What is wrong with this maniac? Fair. But congratulations, you're in the perfect place because that's the lens we're changing and if not, congratulations, you're gonna love this.

Either way, pull up a chair. It's about to get ridiculous.
